Apology - there has been a
delay for new members recently - (May onwards 06) hopefully this will be

Can I join if I live outside the UK?
How do I join the NNLDN?
The joining process is simple and free:
- Send an email to Fiona Law, our webmaster asking to join the NNLDN. Please
include your name and work contact details. Please note that by joining you
agree for your contact details to be shared with other members, to be
signed up to the newsletter, and that you
further agree not to disclose any information gained as a member to other
parties. Click here
to send details. (address is
macfi@lineone.net if link does not work)
- Fiona will create a new personal record for you on the NNLDN's on-line database. She will email you with your new NNLDN username and password
- Once you have your username and password you can log in to the member's sections of the website (e.g. the database etc.) for the first time. Search for your personal database record using the "search" button and fill in your information.
- Once you have filled in your personal record on the on-line database you are a full member of the NNLDN - you can then search the database to view other member's records, and enjoy all the other benefits of being a NNLDN member
What are the benefits of joining the NNLDN?
- Have the opportunity to attend an annual conference for Learning Disability Nurses, hosted by the NNLDN
- Attend local meetings and keep in touch with colleagues
- Have the opportunity to enter the NNLDN Award (supported by the Foundation of Nursing Studies)
- Join the NNLDN/RNLDs email list
- Access the "members-only" functions available on this website, including:
- Use the NNLDN on-line database to contact others, find out what work others are doing, and to give and receive advice and support
- Use the resources page to download meeting minutes, and other information
What will my responsibilities as a NNLDN member be?
- Keep your on-line record up-to-date
- Respond to other member's enquiries
- Attend the conference when you can
Can I join if I live outside the UK?
If you're not a UK-based healthcare practitioner, you are still welcome to join up, but please be aware that our conference and meetings always take place in the UK. You will still be able to network with other members via email, and take advantage of the website.
